Procrastination is undoubtedly a hallmark of lazy people. However, there is also another form of procrastination which looks more professional to mediocre people; those who waits for the sun to shine before they make hay. They are the people who waits for something big to happen before they are enthused. Such people always say: let’s wait for the right time.
Which time do you define to be right? On which circumstance do you classify a time to be right? What are are your attributes of time?
Success comes and we see, failure also comes with the same visibility. Which of them can you assign to the unprecedented nature of time? There is nothing like; right time in the world of success and failure. Age shouldn’t be the reason for your fortune. At any point in time, whether success or failure, depending on what you are doing will come.
Napoleon Hill urges us to take the right time as now and today. Patience isn’t the reason for our waiting. The right time is in our mind, it needs an action now.
Napoleon starts by saying:
“Do not wait, the time will never be “just right”. Start where you stand and work with whatever tools you may have in your command, and better tools will be found as you go along”
What are you waiting for? Or you’re waiting for the right time to come? NO! there is not! It’s now. You can start from right where you are, with the money in your pocket, and with the tools you are having now.
Don’t wait for something big to happen. As you move little by little, things will get better.
“It is always your next move”
And your next move starts now. Don’t forget that you can only move if only you move yourself.
He goes on to say:
“The starting point of all achievements is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. weak desire brings weak results just as small amount of fire makes small amount of heat”
You may have no desire to start something. If you had, you wouldn’t be there waiting for something to crash before you start. Your desire is weak and that is why you are yielding weak results in all your deals.
Have a strong desire, forget about what you have and concentrate. Set a goal, be bold to take risks, strive hard and go for it.
“It has always been my belief that a man should always do his best, regardless of how much he receives for his services or the number of people he may be serving or the class of people served”
Do you do your best with such condition? Or you are waiting to receive big amount, serve big people before your best comes out?
The time that you are waiting for isn’t the right time. The right thing is to do your best. It isn’t about the right time, it’s about the right thing.
Just do your best. The right time is your best.
“The ladder of success is never crowded at the top”
So don’t wait until you get to the top.
“If you cannot do great things, do small things in great way”
That is why you should start with whatever you have. Great things are done with small things. In doing the small things in great way, the things automatically become great. It just the matter of having great thought, great ideas, great imagination and great attitude.
Nobody gets things great, but people have been doing great things.
“The majority of men meet with failure because of their lack of persistence in creating new plans to take place of those who fail”
Persistence, is the key to overcoming tainted failure.
He also says that:
“strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle”
Not by waiting for a fortune to happen.
“There is always room for those who can be relied upon to delivery the goods when they say they will”
