Many are the youth today who only waits for opportunities to be created for them before they decide to showcase their potentials.
There are a lot of trends and events which cannot be comprehended by the use of normal articulations.
You shouldn’t wait for someone to instruct you to move before you move, you shouldn’t be asking too many questions about your life expecting to get the correct answers.
You are the questions and answers by yourself, you are the reasons and the cause of all the things you see to be pulling the strings in your life.
Opportunities are everywhere but not for everyone, they are for those who created them, and they will be the chief owners of it. That is why an employer can never be greater than the employee.
Any opportunity you come across is an already made chance, you will never be independent in your life, and what do I mean by this?
You have submitted dozens of application letters to several companies, those companies are already made business firms. There must be a proprietor or the owner of the company.
As long as you will work in that company, you will forever be working for him. No matter how excellent and industrious your output will be, it will for the betterment of the one who owns the company.
What you might get in return is that small award that will be presented to you.
It might be for the government or an individual.
That is why Brian Tracy is saying…
“the more credit you give away, the more will come back to you. The more you help others, the more they will want to help you”
If you are working on a salary paid job, you are not helping the company, neither are you helping the owner. You are working to get paid and not to be commended.
However, you really have to help others to create opportunities for their sole benefits then you expect them to help you create your own.
Your ideas that helped someone to get into his business destination will turn to be creating chances for you.
Your potentials and skills acquired are not meant to be doing the exchange of money.
We don’t teach little children in schools and expect money to be paid in place of the knowledge you have given out, such people are always slaves in their own territory.
If the school is for the government and at the end of the month, the government decides not to pay you, what will you do? You will stop teaching (go on strike) then you will be in the house ideal to be waiting for the government right?
This is a total disrespect of dignity!
Seek for opportunities by helping others,
Give more credits out and you will surely get it back.
“successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking,“ what’s in for me?
Do you look for opportunities to help others or you always ask what is in for you?
For how long will you be waiting for people to create jobs before you get employed?
For how long will you be submitting application letters to companies?
How long do you want to be rejected by interview panels?
Are you content with the presidency of the unemployed graduates?
You don’t feel shame telling people you are unemployed graduate for 7 years.
If you want to be successful, then you have to agree with Brian Tracey today, that you should be looking for opportunities to help others.
Stop going to the ministries to ask what is in for you.
Stop going to the company where you submitted the application letter to ask what is in for you.
Stop looking through job opportunity platforms to see what is in for you.
You will invisibly become unsuccessful.
He further goes on to say…
“your decision to be, have and do something out of ordinary entails facing difficulties that are out of ordinary as well. Sometimes your greatest asset is simply your ability to stay with it longer than anyone else”
This is what we need, facing difficulties that are extraordinary. Many people today are not ready to take anything hard.
They want to complete university, graduates, get their certificate, write an application letter and CVs, being called for an interview then they will be employed.
They don’t want to go out there, search for problems, come to think of it, find some solutions, try on it and see whether it will be a success.
But our whole decisions even to be and live in this world will inevitably face more downs than ups, obstacles, and difficulties at all levels.
Why do we normally think that our business and welfare dispensation should be much easier?
In fact, I agree with Brian Tracy that, some of our greatest assets is our ability to stay with it longer than anyone else.
Your ability to endure your difficult moments within the journey of your success is very vital in becoming a successful man.
“those people who develop the ability to continuously acquire new and better forms of knowledge that they can apply to their works and to their lives will be movers and shakers in our society for indefinite future”
Think about the movers and shakers of our society now.
They are always doing what we call upgrade.
They are always learning, doing research, gathering challenges facing the society, and they are always solving problems.
They will forever shake and move our society.
Get a better form of knowledge and apply them in your business, seek more ideas to improve your field of work.
Learn to always improve your life, you will be surrounded by many opportunities.
Brian goes on to say….
“develop an attitude of gratitude and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step towards achieving something bigger and better than your current situation”
In doing this, you will go ahead without looking back, you will see yourself to be the author for any opportunity that comes into your life.
No one can solve your problem better than yourself.
No one can create better opportunity more than what you will create.
He also said…
“All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect and they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose”
Be a big dreamer, imagine what your future could be, work every day toward your vision.
Relying on other people’s opportunity will help them to dream more big, step more nearer to their visions and goals.
Do that for your own self!
“I’ve found that luck is more predictable. If you want more luck, take more chances. Be more active, show up often”
He then concludes…
“the more you seek security, the less of it you have. But the more you seek opportunity, the more likely it is that you will achieve the security that you desire”
Therefore seek for an opportunity.
